Allergen Substitution Guide
- For Milk- Try Almond, Rice, Hemp or Coconut milk or water
- For Butter-Try Palm Fruit Oil, coconut oil, or olive oil
- For Sour Cream- Try Mayonnaise
- For Eggs- Try Commercial Egg Re-placer, 1/2 banana, or 1/4 C applesauce
- Wheat Flour (for thickening sauces)- Try Rice flour, tapioca flour, potato flour, or arrowroot
- For Nuts- Try seeds, or dry fruit
- For Vegetable Oil (soy)- Try Olive Oil, or coconut oil
- For Vegetable Shortening (soy)- Try Palm Fruit Oil, or coconut oil
- Bouillon (soy or gluten) - Try Stock (chicken, beef, or vegetables kind)
- For Soy Sauce- Try Coconut amino, or 2.5 molasses to 1 part balsamic vinegar, and sugar to taste
